Dr. Isabel Gabert-Pipersberg

Dr. Isabel Gabert-Pipersberg graduated from the University of Duisburg-Essen with a degree in business administration and subsequently completed her studies in business and tax law at the Ruhr University in Bochum with a Master of Laws (LL.M.). During this time, Dr Gabert-Pipersberg was a scholarship holder at a listed industrial group and was able to gain her first practical experience there as a working student during her studies.

Dr Gabert-Pipersberg then worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Tax Law and Tax Enforcement at the Ruhr University in Bochum. In 2010, she received her doctorate there with a transdisciplinary dissertation on a balance sheet tax law topic. Her dissertation was awarded the 2010 Science Prize of the German Scientific Institute of Tax Advisors.

This was followed by a stay as a visiting scholar at the Centre for Commercial Law Studies, Queen Mary College, University of London.

Before joining Cadenberg, Dr Gabert-Pipersberg was employed as a lecturer in tax law at a legal publishing house. She was also a lecturer at the Hochschule Ruhr West and the Hochschule Düsseldorf.

She is the author of numerous German and English-language specialist publications on tax, accounting and copyright law topics.
