Dr. Udo Krauthausen

Dr. Krauthausen advises and represents clients in commercial law matters with a focus on commercial and corporate law, labour law, antitrust law and compliance. He handles corporate transactions and shareholder disputes, assists in the drafting and negotiation of all types of contracts and advises on day-to-day business. Dr Krauthausen is a certified Compliance Officer (IHK) and helps companies to become legally compliant.

Dr Krauthausen studied law in Mainz and completed his legal traineeship in Rhineland-Palatinate. He worked for a large German credit institution in Frankfurt a.M. and a law firm in Nadi (Fiji Islands). Following his legal clerkship, Dr Krauthausen completed a doctorate on a legal philosophy topic. He obtained an MBA from the International School of Management (Dortmund) and, in 2011, a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Wellington (New Zealand).

Dr Krauthausen began his professional career at a well-known medium-sized business law firm in Frankfurt a.M., where he worked in the field of antitrust law. He then worked for several years as a commercial lawyer in Mainz before moving to Frankfurt a.M. in 2015 as a partner in a supra-regional law firm. Dr Krauthausen joined Cadenberg in 2022.

Dr Krauthausen is a lecturer at the DHBW (Mannheim), where he gives lectures on corporate law. In addition, he is a reserve officer in the German Air Force.
